This page explains how to delete specific personal data from your VietLinks account without deleting the account itself.
About VietLinks
VietLinks is a job-connection platform developed by Eastin Technology, a brand of Logan and Brielle LLC. You remain in control of your personal data at any time — you can edit, remove, or request deletion of specific information without closing your account.
How to Delete Specific Data
Option 1 — Edit or remove data directly in the app
You can update or remove most personal data yourself at any time from within the VietLinks app:
- Profile & CV details — tap Profile → Edit Profile to update or clear name, phone, address, work experience, education, skills, or certifications.
- Profile photo & uploaded files — tap Profile → Edit Profile → remove photo or uploaded documents.
- Job applications — withdraw individual applications from your application history in the Applications tab.
- Chat messages — delete individual messages or clear conversation history in Settings → Privacy → Clear Chat History.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
- Send an email to eastintechnology@gmail.com from the email address registered on your account.
- Use the subject line: Delete my VietLinks data and specify which data you want removed (partial or all).
- We will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.
What Can Be Deleted
The following categories of personal data can be deleted on request:
- Profile details: name, phone number, address
- Digital CV / résumé content: work experience, education, skills, certifications
- Profile photo and uploaded documents
- Job applications and application history
- Chat messages and conversation history
- Saved preferences and notification settings
What Is Kept & Retention Period
Even after a data deletion request, some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate purposes:
- Account and support records — retained for up to 24 months to handle disputes, audit trails, and legal obligations.
- Transaction and financial records — retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
- Legal, fraud, and dispute data — retained for as long as necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
After the applicable retention period expires, all remaining personal data is securely deleted or anonymized.
